Get ready for a takeover!
Bristol Longform Comedy are taking over the Bristol Improv Theatre to showcase local improv troupes performing fantastically funny longform improv – as well as the uniquely assembled Takeover Team featuring different new and experienced improvisers each time!
Bristol Longform Comedy (BLC) is a community-oriented group who shines a light on American-Style Longform Improv. American Longform is a continuous improvised piece inspired by an audience suggestion, structured like sketch comedy, rather than a play.
Their takeover will show you the wide range of wonderful improv Bristol has to offer. There will be two established groups and the Takeover Team: a community troupe created just for the night.

Have you ever read a horoscope and wondered who is having that kind of day? Wonder no longer, as we take you through the day of someone whose fate is in the stars.
Act Two: The Takeover Team
The Takeover Team is an assortment of improvisers from the community who have assembled for just one show. That’s right, just one show. Catch them while you can, because if you miss them, you’ll never get to see them again!
Act Three: Muses
An all-star long form team from some of Bristol’s best improvisers bring you a night of fun, fancy and frolic. Improvisers from This Is Your Musical, Up The Antics, BirdWatchers, Degrees of Error and Jazz Police will craft hilarious scenes and sketches from your suggestions.
