Pitch Your Idea for UP Summer Show

Huge thanks to everyone who took part in or came to support the UP Big Spring Shows in April!

Pitching for the Unscripted Players (UP) Big Summer Shows is now open, the deadline for you to submit a pitch is Tuesday 26th May at 10am.

If you're interested in submitting a pitch, please read the FAQs before completing the pitch submission form (click button below)

For the UP Big Shows we are looking for fully improvised show ideas that can be developed to have a run-time of between 30 and 50 minutes. In particular we are looking for:

• A clear concept that is easy for the audience to understand
• Productions that are achievable for a mixed-experience level cast within an 8 week rehearsal period
• Productions that will be fun for the cast and creative team to participate in
• Shows that feature a cast of 5 or more people

KEY DATES for UP Big Summer Shows

Show dates: 20th, 21st, 22nd August

Pitching closes: 26th May 10am

Audition sign ups open: 29th May

Audition sign ups close: 4th June (earlier if capacity is reached)

Auditions: Sunday 7th June 2.30pm - 5.30pm

Rehearsals: Sundays 2pm - 5pm from the 21st June until the 16th August

Dress rehearsal: Wednesday 19th August 6pm - 9pm
