The Bristol Comedy History walk needs paid stewards!
The Bristol Comedy History Walk is a guided tour exploring lesser-known stories of the city. This humorous tour of Bristol’s hidden arcana led by improv performers, actors and comedians containing hilarious alternative perspectives and sneaky Bristolian In-jokes on this fun trail around the Southwest’s coolest city. The walk will analyse Bristol’s traditional and newer histories, not forgetting that every city has a slobby, as well as a salubrious side. We’ll show you some surprising things about the city and the spirt of its inhabitants.
What will stewards be doing?
Ensuring the safe passage of actors through the streets of Bristol, making sure our road safety risk assessments are adhered to and making the walk a great experience for everyone.
Who are we looking for?
Anyone who loves theatre and Bristol and is over the age of 18.
People who can walk for 1.5 hours, up to twice a day (start times 11am and 2pm)
There’s 36 shows, Twice a day, 11am and 2pm
May: Saturdays – 13th, 20th, 27th | Thursdays – 4th
June: Saturdays – 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th | Thursdays – 1st
July: Saturdays – 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd | Thursdays – 6th, 20th
August: Saturdays – 12th, 19th | Thursdays – 3rd
Stewards can do as little or as many dates as they fancy.
