Join us at the Windmill Hill City Farm to explore engagin, winter storytelling through fun and play! Children and their Grown Ups can join in to take part in this workshop using the principles of play and improvisation, leading to a festive story adventure that the group creates together.

There’ll be plenty of action and activity using your body to act out the story. You can join in at your own level with the support of friendly and engaging teachers from the Bristol Improv Theatre.

You’ll learn to play and create theatrical stories with experienced instructors. Kids and adults alike will find new skills and have the chance to make new friends. If the weather is bright the workshop will take place in the farm’s beautiful outdoor theatre space (bring a coat!), and if it is very cold or rainy it will move indoors and become a little more cosy – but still with plenty of space to move around.

Grown ups are actively encouraged to participate – why should the kids have all the fun!

Please note: children MUST be accompanied by an adult to attend this workshop – it is not a drop-off play activity. Our suggested age range is 3 – 9*

*Children younger than 3 are welcome if an older sibling is attending, as long as they are supervised. Please contact us if you have any questions.
