The Improv Spotlight proudly showcases the diverse skills of local troupes and artists within the Bristol improv community. Every show features unique acts from the vibrant world of unscripted comedy, with a focus on up-and-coming acts, providing a stage for fresh and unique shows.
This month, under the spotlight, we present the improvised movie dissection 'Fairly Non-Bio' and explore a theme across time in 'Storm Compass'.
In Fairly Non-Bio, a panel of filmmakers at a biopic film’s premiere discuss and dissect the scenes of their film, along the way discovering that maybe it’s not quite as good as they’d hoped. In fact, the film is nonsensical. As if the script was made up on the spot.
