First Act - What's Your Star Sign

Have you ever read a horoscope and wondered who is having that kind of day?

Wonder no longer, as we take you through the day of someone whose fate is in the stars. From a read of the horoscopes of the most reasonably priced newspaper available, we see that day and all the possibilities it has to offer.

Second Act - The Takeover Team

The Takeover Team is a mystery assortment of improvisers from the community who have assembled for just one show. That’s right, just one show. Catch them while you can, because if you miss them, you’ll never get to see them again!

Third Act - Bird Watchers

The delightful two-prov team made up of Anna Kemp (This is Your Musical) and Paige Tummons (Jazz Police). Birdwatchers explore the present and past of 2 characters reminiscing together in their original "epilogue" longform format. Think exploratory flashbacks combined with comedic elements, heartfelt scenes, and absolutely ridiculous moments that are sure to make you laugh (and think that maybe your own family isn’t that weird after all)

Birdwatchers have performed extensively in Bristol and won the Improv Cagematch in 2019.

About Bristol Longform Comedy - and what IS Longform Improv?

Bristol Longform Comedy is a performer-led, grassroots, community-driven collective committed to producing and supporting Longform Improvisation in Bristol. It’s a style of improv that has given us some of the world’s most famous sketch and improv comedians and takes elements of “shortform” improv (improv games that are quickly interchanged) to new and ridiculous heights.

Longform Improv creates a continuous, unscripted performance that unfolds in a series of interconnected sketches, full of wit, spontaneity, and surprising moments.
