We are working hard to make your return to the theatre as safe as possible. Please read below to see some of the changes we have made, and what we expect from you when visiting to watch a show.
Please note that our safety policies will be reviewed when limits on social contact are relaxed, no earlier than 21st June.
What we are doing
Capped audience numbers
In order to adhere to social distancing regulations, we have reduced our audience capacity to 52 audience members.
Social distancing measures
We have renovated our theatre space so we can maintain social distancing of 1m+ between groups. Seating is arranged in cabaret style of tables of 2, 4 and 6. You cannot attend or socialise in groups of more than 6.
Anyone entering the building will be asked to have their temperature taken with a wireless thermometer to reduce the risk of spreading infection.
Please wash / sanitise your hands frequently, particularly upon entering the building. We have provided hand santising stations around the building for audience use.
We are giving you full flexibility on all bookings, past, present and future.
Clear signage and communication
One way systems, toilet queues & entrances & exits will be clearly marked and communicated to audiences to encourage social distancing.
What we expect from you
Book in advance
All tickets must be booked online, in advance of the performance, as we have a reduced audience capacity and are obliged to provide data to the NHS Test & Trace service. We will also be taking contact details from all members of your group on arrival, in line with the new requirements.
Stay at home if you have symptoms
We have a flexible exchange or refund policy so you can stay at home if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, sudden loss of or change to taste and smell, or generally feel unwell)
Please do not arrive earlier than advertised to avoid large gatherings outside the theatre. On arrival, you will be shown directly to your table which will be your seat for the evening.
Please wear a mask when arriving at the theatre and moving in the corridors. You are invited to wear a mask when observing in the audience but this is not mandatory.
Please be mindful of maintaining a 1m+ distance from other households when entering and moving around the theatre.
Please wash/sanitise your hands frequently, particularly upon entering the building. We have provided hand sanitising stations around the building for audience use.
Shouting and Singing
Although we know how much you enjoy our performances, please do not shout or sing loudly as this could risk aerosol transmission of COVID-19.
Order from your table
In line with the law, we will be operating a table-service only policy. We encourage you to order drinks before the show but you will also be able to place orders throughout the evening.
Important: our staff are doing their best in difficult and changing circumstances to keep you as safe as possible. Please consider this when addressing them. Any abuse (physical or verbal) directed towards our staff members will result in you being asked to leave the venue without refund.
