INVITING FRINGE SHOW PREVIEWS FOR OUR JULY SHOWCASE

If you are taking a show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2026 and looking for preview opportunity in Bristol, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for fully or partially improvised shows to showcase as Fringe Previews at Bristol Improv Theatre throughout July.  It’s easy to apply with via the form button below – and the deadline for applications is 13 February, 2026.

Shows We Would Love to Hear From

  • Shows that are going to Edinburgh during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2026
  • Performances that are fully or partially improvised, or that have another strong connection to improvisation, such as being devised through improvisation
  • A runtime of between 30 minutes and 1 hour
  • Shows with set and tech that are easy to assemble and strike
  • Availability on at least one of the following dates:
    • Thursday 16th July
    • Saturday 18th July
    • Sunday 19th July
    • Thursday 23rd July
    • Friday 24th July
    • Sunday 26th July
    • Thursday 30th July
    • Saturday 1st August
    • Sunday 2nd August

Bristol Improv Theatre Showcase Offer

  • Black box theatre with capacity of 70 in our seating rake, 100 with additional side seating
  • Marketing support including:
    • Feature on website and listed in a group post on social media
    • Inclusion in our print brochure – release and distribution early April 2026
    • Share of your social media content that aligns with our editorial guidelines 
    • Fringe Previews post on our blog
  • 60/40 split in your favour on a ticket price of £15 with a £12 concession 

Deadline Friday 13 February to apply. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so we recommend submitting yours as soon as possible.
