CAN DO MAYBE – THE MUSICAL
In Concert
Can Do Maybe is a two act, fifteen song musical.
It follows the lives of four young people. Mike and Alisha are meant to be together but are kept apart by Alisha’s past and Mike’s present. Ray is a young carer who hides his grief and pain from everyone. And Charlotte is an observant girl who has big dreams but is crushed and made the victim of other people’s insecurities.
While the musical deals with modern day issues of relationships, bullying, grief, implications of being a young carer, drugs and knife crime, it is an uplifting musical which inspires reflection on life behind the closed doors of our lives.
Can Do Maybe appeals to all ages. With its focus on the lives of teenagers, it is ideal for schools, universities, amateur and professional groups to perform.

There will be a matinee and evening performance on 10 May and each will be an in concert showcase version of the musical. The cast of eight and live band will be performing scenes and choreography from the musical along with all the songs.
