DESCRIPTION:Mondays | 19:30 – 21:30\nLooking to stretch your improvising muscles? Then our drop-ins are for you! \nOur drop-ins run every Monday evening and alternate between scene workshops and classes focused on specific skills to help you pad out your improvisers tool-kit. \nDuring our scene workshops\, you’ll receive supportive and constructive side-coaching\, tailored to the group and designed to develop your confidence and improvisation skills. On the other hand\, the regular drop-ins will take a specific skill and explore it through games\, exercises and scenes. \nFacilitated by an experienced Bristol Improv Theatre instructor\, drop-ins are a great chance to try improv at Bristol Improv Theatre and connect with others. \nAny questions\, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at hello@improvtheatre.net. \nIf you are brand new to improv\, you may prefer to try the monthly Improv Taster Session. \nOur Improv Drop-Ins are very popular classes which regularly sell out. SUMMARY:Tales Of Adventure Presents: Haunted House Hijinks
DESCRIPTION:Thursday 14th November | 20:00\n(Doors open 19:30)\nZoinks! The locals want to turn the old abandoned manor on the outskirts of town into a children’s hospital\, but the construction crew claims that the ghost of the original owner is haunting the place and\, like\, they’re too scared to start work. Is this spectral situation for real\, or is there a totally bogus secret plot afoot? Either way\, it sounds like a job for a van-full of mystery solving teens and their talking animal sidekick! \nTales of Adventure is an improvised storytelling panel show with live illustration\, inspired by tabletop RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons. Each episode sees a crack team of comedians and improvisers combining their talents to craft a thrilling and hilarious narrative in a different genre\, aided (and sometimes challenged) by suggestions from the Audience. Expect chaotic comedy\, high-energy silliness\, and occasional touching moments amongst the nonsense. \nLike all improvised shows\, content may vary – recommended for ages 14+ \n(Please note: all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)
