DESCRIPTION:Mondays | 19:30 – 21:30\nLooking to stretch your improvising muscles? Then our drop-ins are for you! \nOur drop-ins run every Monday evening and alternate between scene workshops and classes focused on specific skills to help you pad out your improvisers tool-kit. \nDuring our scene workshops\, you’ll receive supportive and constructive side-coaching\, tailored to the group and designed to develop your confidence and improvisation skills. On the other hand\, the regular drop-ins will take a specific skill and explore it through games\, exercises and scenes. \nFacilitated by an experienced Bristol Improv Theatre instructor\, drop-ins are a great chance to try improv at Bristol Improv Theatre and connect with others. \nAny questions\, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at hello@improvtheatre.net. \nIf you are brand new to improv\, you may prefer to try the monthly Improv Taster Session. \nOur Improv Drop-Ins are very popular classes which regularly sell out. We would always recommend booking your place in advance in order to secure your spot. DESCRIPTION:First Thursday of Every Month | 20:00 (doors open 19:30)\nJoin us for an evening of improv games\, socialising and fun at our monthly jam. \nYou can sign up to play improv games – think ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ – or scenes\, all facilitated by our experienced compere. There will be lots of silly nonsense\, laughs and plenty of chances to join in! Everyone is welcome\, whether you’re aching to stretch your improv muscles\, curious to try improvising for the very first time\, or simply want to come along and watch. \nTickets are pay what you decide\, but please book in advance so we know who we’re expecting. DESCRIPTION:Saturday 5th October | 19:30\nJoin us to celebrate the success of our fundraiser to Save the Bristol Improv Theatre by raising a glass for a toast\, and enjoying (or even taking part in!) a playful and friendly improv jam. \nTOAST*\nYour ticket will include a glass of bucks fizz** so that you can join us in a few toasts to celebrate and recognise the support we have had from our community\, from donors\, and from supporters beyond our usual reach. We’ll also celebrate our new charitable status with a few words from our Chair of Trustees as well as a couple of short speeches from members of our community. \nToasts will start at 8pm so please arrive before 8pm for your glass of fizz** \n& JAM\nAfter a few toasts settle in for an improv jam hosted by our very own Theatre School Co-ordinator\, Instructor\, Dungeon Master (Tales of Adventure)\, and stage stalwart (Murder She Didn’t Write\, Steves & Wooster\, Waiting for Robo(t) and many more…) and joint founder of the theatre: Stephen Clements.  \nSign up at the bar to take part in an improv scene or game\, or simply sit back and watch the silliness that ensues on our bar stage. Don’t worry\, all games will be explained and if it goes “wrong”… we’ll improvise! \n*not toast as in toasted bread\, toast as in “a toast to ______!”.
