There will be two established groups and the Takeover Team: a community troupe created just for the night. \nCome along for an evening jam-packed with entertainment and comedy! \nACT ONE – Last Day on Earth \nThe first graduate house team of legendary improv night Parent’s Basement take a location from the audience and proceed to take us on a journey through improvised sketch and character comedy. \nFeaturing performers from: This Is Your Musical\, Up The Antics & After Dusk\, the improvised twilight zone\, Last Day on Earth have travelled all over the country with their chaotic\, hilarious comedic style and consistently deliver premium laughter. \nACT TWO – The Takeover Team\nThe Takeover Team is a mystery assortment of improvisers from the community who have assembled for just one show. That’s right\, just one show. Catch them while you can\, because if you miss them\, you’ll never get to see them again! \nACT THREE – The Groundhogs \nThe Groundhogs originated as part of Bristol Longform Comedy and are icons of Bristol’s longform improv scene. Watch their cast relive the same scene over and over – and see how the tiniest of changes can lead to a totally different future\, exploring the many different ways that a single scene could have gone…but didn’t.

This is not that kind of love story. \nThis is the kind of love story where passion strikes like a wrecking ball\, leaving you dazed\, confused\, and madly in love with an unaccountable asshole who does admittedly look really good climbing out of a lake in a thin white shirt… \nThink of dark romances that ruin your life\, forbidden loves that refuse to be denied (no matter how messy it gets)! \nFrom the creators of ‘Murder\, She Didn’t Write’ – The BLANK who BLANKED me is an improvised and unabashedly queer torrid romance with tongue firmly in (someone’s) cheek. Expect passion and pastiche\, high drama and low comedy\, lashings of laughter and perhaps true love.

Down below the deepest depths to way beyond the furthest horizon. Two men\, bound to a solemn duty\, unaware of the torturous toll about to be exacted upon them. By what exactly? Seemingly… nothing at all. \nPray\, delve with us into this unknown. Our two beleaguered performers inflict upon one another a harrowing tale of control\, isolation\, and madness. Your suggestions will take them to the remotest reaches of humanity\, pit them against one another\, and force them to finally confront themselves. \nThis entirely improvised psychological drama is loosely inspired by Robert Eggers’ 2019 film “The Lighthouse”. No prior knowledge of the movie is required or even encouraged to enjoy “The Belltower”. Contains dark themes. \nPerformed by James Cottle and Sam Addy. James also features in the post-apocalyptic “Tales From the Wasteland”\, while Sam directs and stars in the tragic political drama “Blame of Thrones”.
