DESCRIPTION:Friday 8th August | 19:30 – 22:00\n(Doors open 19:00)\nA celebratory evening giving our regular monthly improv jam – where anyone can sign up to take part in classic improv games and songs – a sparkly summer glow up! \nThe night will also feature a set from Imogen’s alter-ego IMOGENÉ\, promising hilarity\, outrageous costumes and a warm welcome to every audience member whether you are new to the Bristol Improv Theatre or a regular to our events.  \nProceeds from this event will go to the Bristol Improv Theatre’s charitable work. \n  \nAbout IMOGENÉ \nTop Ten Comedy Shows Vault Festival 2020 – London Evening Standard\n‘Dynamic\, unpredictable and hilarious’ – The Swinsonian\n‘A queer icon in the making’ – Bristol Pride\n★★★★★ ‘IMOGENÉ is the loud\, proud and unapologetic performer we all need right now’ – DIVA Magazine\n\nIMOGENÉ is an outrageous over-the-top diva\, on the brink of pop immortality\, who needs the audience’s help to make a brand new ground-breaking album…tonight! \n\nJoining IMOGENÉ on her star-spangled journey\, a high-octane ride of riotous music\, physical comedy and wild monologues exploring themes of gender identity\, feminism\, polyamory\, sexuality\, rape culture and consent.\n\nLike all concert-goers\, the audience will be dazzled by light-shows\, multiple costume changes\, dry ice and excessive amounts of glitter and they will also help create IMOGENÉ’s new album – catapulting each and every one of them to pop’s hall of fame. \n  \nAbout Imogen \nImogen Palmer is the Artistic Director of The Delight Collective which has produced hilarious interactive shows including The Bish Bosh Bash (The Bristol Improv Theatre)\, Friends Like These (Returning to Bristol Improv Theatre 25th July). She/ They wrote the book for queer apocalyptic musical ‘Help! We’re Still Alive!’ with award-winning composer Tim Gilvin which premiered in London in 2022 and has just qualified as a Drama Psychotherapist.
