Performing Improv Level 2 is a programme of three seven-week classes, which rotate throughout the year: Making a Show, Exploring Narrative and Approaches to Scenework.

These courses aim to take your playing skills to the next level and pack our your improviser’s toolkit with further skills and development. At this level, we combine skills development with personalised feedback and coaching for performing improvised theatre & comedy.

We recommend that you’ve completed the full carousel of Level 1 courses or have completed training programmes at other schools prior to taking this course.

Who are these courses for?

  • Anyone who has completed the Performing L1 Carousel of courses and wants to continue their journey with the Bristol Improv Theatre School
  • Anyone who has 1-2 years experience of improvisation and wants to broaden their skills and understanding of improvised theatre.
  • Anyone who has started learning improv elsewhere and wants to join the Bristol Improv Theatre School to take their improv to the next level.
