This weekly improv drop in is the perfect chance to get acquainted with the Unscripted Players, the Bristol Improv Theatre's amateur improv company.

Open to everyone, these drop-in workshops are suitable for beginners and up (no pun intended), taught by local and visiting instructors.

Each week brings a new workshop to stretch your improv muscles, learn new skills and meet a load of fantastic, friendly people.

Instructors

Andy Yeoh is the BIT's longest-standing instructor, having taught the BIT's first ever course back in 2013 after the first Bristol Improv Festival. Last year he directed the BIT's original productions This Is Your Musical and Pick Your Own Panto. Andy is a founding member of improvised theatre company Degrees of Error, and holds a Masters in Theatre in Education from the University of Warwick. He is also the BIT's Operations Director, and can usually be located in the theatre, up a ladder.

John Gallagher moved to Bristol in 2016 where he joined the Bristol Improv Theatre teaching staff, The Unscripted Players committee, and the Bristol Longform Community. He performs with a number of improv troupes including 'The Inheritance', 'Macronaughts', 'Scenes To An End', 'The Wentworths', 'The Billy Boys', and his one man show, 'One Board Man'. John regularly teaches and coaches in Bristol, and has performed at numerous UK venues such as Hoopla, The Free Association, The Nursery, Nottingham Comedy Festival, and The Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe Festivals. He currently works as Production Manager for The Unscripted Players, and as Outreach Director for Kitchen Rules Theatre
