Longform Improv Workshop
The Bristol Longform Improv Workshop is a weekly drop-in for improvisers who are interested in American-style longform comedic improvisation.
Workshops feature a heavy emphasis on scenework fundamentals and establishing truthful, grounded characters with fun comedic patterns.
Our drop-ins are focusing on Agreement and this workshop is looking at group scenes.
When there are more than 3 people in a scene, finding agreement is even harder, as the players must "yes" even more than they "and".
However if a group can find an idea and all agree to play it together then the results look like magic!
These sessions are OPEN TO ALL, but prior scenework experience and some knowledge of non-narrative longform is recommended.
