Longform Improv Workshop

Tuesday 13th February 8pm - 10pm
  1. × £8 Standard
  2. × £6 Concession

The Bristol Longform Improv Workshop is a weekly drop-in for improvisers who are interested in American-style longform comedic improvisation.

Workshops feature a heavy emphasis on scenework fundamentals and establishing truthful, grounded characters with fun comedic patterns.

Our drop-ins are currently focusing on Truth and this workshop is looking at Faking It. We can't be completely truthful in scenes, sometimes we have to play professions/scenarios that we have absolutely no experience of.

This drop-in will work on how to play these scenes as confidently and truthfully as possible.

These sessions are OPEN TO ALL, but prior scenework experience and some knowledge of non-narrative longform is recommended.

Instructor

He is also a frequent guest performer at Glasgow's Harold Night and last year appeared in "Our Street", an Unscripted Players production at the Wardrobe Theatre.
