Tuesday 3rd October 8pm - 10pm

This event is now over. Check the What's On for upcoming events!

The Bristol Longform Improv Workshop is a weekly drop-in for improvisers who are interested in American-style longform comedic improvisation.

Workshops feature a heavy emphasis on scenework fundamentals and establishing truthful, grounded characters with fun comedic patterns.

Individual workshops will cover a wide range of longform skills, as well as sessions dedicated to exploring non-narrative formats such as The Harold, The Deconstruction, The Pretty Little Flower, and much more!

Supplementary readings and videos are added weekly to the group Facebook page to support the workshops.

These sessions are open to all, but prior scenework experience and some knowledge of non-narrative longform is recommended.

Alexios Venieris is an experienced improviser and workshop leader, who has trained in the USA for three years and performed at prestigious SAK Comedy Lab in Orlando, FL.

He has experience in short form game-style improv, as well as long form, narrative and musical improv.
