Backline presents: Women Talk Improv

Thursday 8th March 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Join some of Bristol's best improvisers as they explore what it means to be a woman who does improv.

Gathering speakers from Degrees Of Error, Closer Each Day, the Bristol Longform Improv Group, Stomping Ground and the BIT's sold out women's workshop, Backline presents an evening of conversation about the issues that face women in the improv world.

Chaired by Anna Kemp (compère Bristol Improv Edinburgh Festival Fringe show 2015, 2016, 2017; compère Bristol Pole Dancing Championship 2016), the discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A and an opportunity for some one on one improv advice with the speakers.

About Backline

Backline is a new organisation set up in Bristol to support improvisers. Whether you've just heard of improv and want to find out where to do it, or you have an amazing show and you're not sure how to go about touring it, we want to be able to provide advice and support for your problems. Most of all we want to address the difficulties a lot of improvisors face trying to advance from learning improv to making teams and performing their shows on stage.
