Performing Improv Level 2: Scenes from Truth

Mondays 9th November – 30th November
19:00 – 21:00

This is part of our Performing Improv Level Two programme, which combines skill development with personalised feedback and coaching for performing improvised theatre & comedy.

In Scenes from Truth, we practice bringing authenticity,  truth and rich moments to improvised scenes and stories. Using techniques inspired by practitioners including Nadine Antler (Wurzberg Improv), Jason Shotts (IO Chicago) and Sandford Meiser, we explore the freedom which can come when we give ourselves permission to use our own lives and memories as a starting point.

Who is this course for?

  • Anyone who has completed the Performing Level 1 carousel of courses and wants to continue their journey with the Bristol Improv Theatre School
  • Anyone who has 2+ years of performing improvisation and wants to hone their skills or shake the dust off after a break
  • Anyone who has started learning improv elsewhere and wants to join the Bristol Improv Theatre School
