One of the superpowers of improvised theatre and comedy is to transport audiences & performers to brand new worlds.
In this 4-week course, we look at building performer’s toolkit on creating exciting environments in which to play on stage. This will cover object-work & mime skills, creating spaces through how we interact with them and how we as performers can bring a world to life by physicalising the environment.
An excellent course for anyone keen to bring physicality, object-work & play to their performance skills.
This 4-week course is part of the Performing Improv Level 1 carousel, which includes Making a Scene and Telling Stories. Completion of the Discovering Improv Carousel or at least a year’s experience of improv is recommended before taking this course. If you are unsure of your level of experience, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
