Saturday 28th August
Jam – 16:00 – 18:00
Social – 18:00 – 20:00
Join us for an afternoon of improv games, socialising and fun at our outdoor summer jam in the secluded Arlington Gardens behind the Bristol Improv Theatre.
You can sign up to play improv games – think ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ – or scenes, all facilitated by our experienced compere. There will be lots of silly nonsense, laughs and plenty of chances to join in! Everyone is welcome, whether you’re aching to stretch your improv muscles, curious to try improvising for the very first time, or simply want to come along and watch.
Bring your own picnic blanket or camping chairs to make yourselves comfortable. Toilets inside the Bristol Improv Theatre will be open to participants, and our bar will be open from 4-7pm. You’re also very welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks if you’re not ready to come indoors just yet.
Tickets are pay what you decide, but please book in advance so we know who we’re expecting. Capacity will be capped at 30 to allow plenty of room for a fun and safe afternoon of improv.
