Tuesday 20th April
19:00 – 21:30 GMT
Artists and Improvisers have a lot to teach each other, from being comfortable making mistakes and even embracing them to learning to use your surroundings and specific details in those surroundings for inspiration and so much more besides.
In this elective we’ll be playing a series of short games and exercises that combine improv and surrealist games.
No technical skills or improv ability are necessary; this elective is all about ideas and playing.
Ros – what improvisers will get out of learning from artists
A chance to step out of your comfort zone and play with a new artform, learning to look at your surroundings and environment to generate ideas and learning surrealist principals to get your unconscious mind working for you!
Billie – what artists will get out of learning from improvisers
