Improv Taster Session

GIVE IMPROV A GO

Saturday 7th November
14:00 – 16:00

Every month, we run the Improv Taster Session for anyone looking to try their hand at improvisation before committing to a course.

Facilitated by an experienced Bristol Improv Theatre instructor, the class will explore a fundamental skill of improvisation using a smorgasbord of improv games and exercises. It’s a great chance to try improv, see what it’s like at a physical distance and connect with others in a controlled environment.

Places must be booked in advance and capped at 8 (plus up to two instructors)  to ensure we maintain 2m physical distancing throughout the class.

Clear guidelines will be given for how to use the space, to ensure that everyone has a good time.

Any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at hello@improvtheatre.net.

Health & Safety Statement

In a post-COVID world, we want to give people the opportunity to connect with each other whilst learning valuable skills in a controlled and friendly environment.

Our classes are capped at 10 people (including instructors) so we can maintain 2m physical distancing throughout the session.

We encourage students to wear masks when observing in the audience and hand gel & washing facilities will be readily available.

A full list of what we’re doing to make the building Covid-Secure and what we expect from students is available here.

Feeling unwell? Please stay at home. We’re offering a flexible class exchange policy which you can read about here.

In the event of updated guidance from the government  partway through a course, the course will be transferred online and delivered through the platform Zoom.
