May – Mental Health Awareness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week is happening from 9th to 15th May 2022 with the official theme of loneliness. Throughout May, we’re inviting our audiences and students to donate to local mental health charity Changes Bristol to raise awareness of this important event. All donations received from this event will go towards the charity.
Changes Bristol is a community based mental health charity that provides free peer support groups to help improve people’s mental wellbeing. They run 18 weekly peer support groups, a twice weekly walk and talk service and telephone befriending for one-to-one support.
