SATURDAY 6TH MARCH
14:00 – 16:30 GMT
Voice & release your anger with other women
What would it be like to allow your anger?
For it to be welcome in the room and for you to even play with it?
Not something that’s usually allowed to women!
In this class we will do a series of vocal exercises to gently connect with and explore our anger.
Since it’ll be online, there’s the added bonus of total privacy in parts of your exploration while the space is held for you. All exercises will be an invitation and there will be room to share our experiences.
Come join us & release your angry woman!
Aisha is a vocal artist, improviser, composer, producer, facilitator and co-creator of Kiota, a collective of BIPoC artists in The South West, working towards decolonising arts spaces in Bristol. She is passionate about working with the voice and is very experienced at holding space for others to explore and express themselves.
“I really enjoyed the singing workshop with Aisha! She made us laugh and put everyone at ease- creating a warm and friendly atmosphere with lots of games and singing. It was a lovely space to come together, share connection and time together. Just what is needed during the pandemic. We even managed some harmonies over zoom! Thank you so much!” -workshop participant
Places are capped at 12. This event is for all cis and trans women, as well as non-binary people who are comfortable in a space which centres the experience of women.
