REACT: Confession Booth

Saturday 7th November

The Bristol Improv Theatre presents a series of new shows that respond creatively to the challenges of social distancing in live performance. A line up of talented local companies and artists embrace the flexibility of improvisation to create work that is imaginative, immediate, whole-hearted and fun.

REACT is a homecoming for Bristol’s improvising community and a celebration of the resilience of live entertainment, under any conditions.

Confession Booth

Join us for an evening of salacious secrets, laughter and (limited) theological discourse.

Stolen your housemate’s slippers? Lied to your friend about their terrible haircut? Swiped a potato through as an apple at the self checkout? Or maybe you did something genuinely sinful…

Anonymously confess your sins to inspire our scenes and receive vicarious absolution at the Bristol Improv Theatre.

Devised, directed and performed by Bristol Improv Theatre Associate Artists for the REACT season.

Health & Safety Statement

We are committed to making our return to live shows as safe and reassuring as possible whilst still providing the excitement and magic of a live theatre experience.

We have renovated our theatre into a cabaret style seating arrangement, with audience numbers capped at 52 so that social distancing can be observed.

In line with the new laws , wearing a mask is a prerequisite for entry to the building (unless seated at your table) and we now operate a table service system for our bar which stops serving at 10pm.

Hand gel and washing facilities are readily available around the building, including contactless hand sanitisers.

A full list of what we’re doing to make the building Covid-Secure and what we expect from audience members is available here.
